How to Download TikTok Photos and Slideshows in Full Quality

Save every image from a TikTok photo post (carousel) in original resolution, all at once, plus the slideshow's music as MP3.

TikTok photo posts, also called carousels or slideshows, are a set of images you swipe through, usually with music. The app’s save option only gives you a watermarked video of the slideshow, not the pictures themselves. Here is how to download the actual images, in full resolution.

How to download a TikTok slideshow

  1. Open the photo post in TikTok, tap Share → Copy link.
  2. Go to the TikTok Photo Downloader (the main downloader works too) and tap Paste.
  3. Tik4DL detects the photo post and shows every image in a grid, numbered in order.
  4. Tap the pink download button on a single image, or Download all images to save the whole set.
  5. Want the music too? Tap Download MP3 below the grid.

Allow multiple downloads

When you tap “Download all images”, your browser may ask whether this site can download multiple files. Tap Allow. Images are saved one after another, about a second apart.

  • Android: images go to Downloads and appear in Google Photos or Samsung Gallery under the Download album.
  • iPhone: long-press an image in the Tik4DL grid and choose Save to Photos, or download and then open Files → Downloads → Share → Save Image.
  • Computer: everything goes to your Downloads folder.

Image quality and formats

Tik4DL gives you the images exactly as TikTok stores them: no re-compression and no overlay. Most slideshow images are 1080 pixels wide and saved as JPEG. Image quality depends on what the creator uploaded. Screenshots and re-shared memes are often low resolution to begin with.

Turning a slideshow into a video

If you actually want the slideshow as a video with music but without the watermark, download the images and the MP3, then combine them in any editor such as CapCut, iMovie or Canva. That also lets you change timing and transitions.

Why doesn’t the photo grid appear?

If you get a video instead of images, the creator probably uploaded the slideshow as a regular video, which is common with older posts and some editing apps. In that case, download the MP4, or use the cover downloader for a single still image.

Keeping the slides in order

Each image is saved with its position in the file name (…_1.jpg, …_2.jpg and so on), so they sort in the original order in any gallery or folder. If your gallery sorts by date instead, switch the view to sort by name.

Making a PDF or collage from a slideshow

Slideshows are often recipes, study notes or lists, which are handy as a single document:

  • iPhone: select the images in Photos → Share → Print, then pinch out on the preview and Share it as a PDF.
  • Android: select the images in Files by Google or your gallery → Share → Print → Save as PDF.
  • Computer: select the images, then Print to PDF (Windows) or open them in Preview and Export as PDF (Mac).

Image sizes and formats

Most slideshow images are 1080 pixels wide, in portrait or square format. TikTok stores some images as WebP; Tik4DL saves them with a .jpg name for compatibility, and every modern device opens them. If an old program refuses a file, open it in your browser and save it again, or use any image converter.

Common questions

Can I download just one slide?

Yes. Each image has its own download button in the grid.

Are the images watermarked?

No. You get the original images without the TikTok logo or username.

Can I get the text that was on the slides?

Text drawn onto the images stays in the images. The caption under the post can be copied with the caption copier.
