DMCA & Copyright Policy

How to report content and how we handle copyright notices.

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Tik4DL respects the intellectual property of creators. We do not host videos, music or images; files are retrieved from TikTok in response to individual user requests and are not stored on our servers beyond short-lived caches.

Even so, we take copyright seriously. If you are a rights holder and want a specific post or account to be blocked from processing on Tik4DL, we will do so promptly.

How to submit a notice

Send your request through our contact form (topic: “Copyright / DMCA”) and include:

  1. Your full name and contact details, and the name of the rights holder you represent, if any.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
  3. The exact TikTok URL(s) you want blocked on Tik4DL.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review valid notices and block the listed URLs from being processed, typically within 2 business days. Because the content itself is hosted by TikTok, you may also want to report it to TikTok directly through its intellectual property reporting process.

Counter-notices

If you believe content was blocked by mistake, you can send a counter-notice with the same level of detail, and we will review it in line with applicable law.

Repeat infringers

We may restrict access to the Service for users who repeatedly misuse it to infringe copyright.
